i am the oldest of three girls. I grew up in the country on almond ranch driving tractor and going to Catholic School til 8th grade. Right before high school my parents divorced. I was out of sorts and a bit rebellious in my teens. I also had a perfectionist people pleasing side too, so during this time I felt like everything I did wasn't good enough, I wasn't worthy or right . Fast forward to meeting my husband in high school, getting married at 18 (I know super young) and becoming Army military wife for 20 years. My husband and I have three boys. During our military career although most of it was incredible, however there were times when I felt isolated, alone during my husband's deployments, and overwhelmed without the help of family or friends. I decided to try church to help the hard times and discovered a fun church that seemed to feed my spirit. I felt close to God in a new ways and decided to make a change and start going to a Christian Church. I felt love no matter what I did or how much I accomplished. That was so refreshing!! I was never into sports as a kid, but I did love working out and yoga. At a women's bible study I met another mom/fitness trainer who taught yoga. I took a few of her classes and she encouraged me to take a yoga training, the rest is history. I have been teaching yoga for over 12+ years and practicing for over 20years. Yoga has been my worship time with God. It helps me connect to. the quiet voice of Jesus and continues to teach me I don't have to be perfect or feel unworthy...I am loved no matter what!
I have always been interested in health. I love working out, it's my go to for stress relief. I come from a long line of family members who have suffered from heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have seen the side effects of medication and vowed at en early age to try a more holistic approach if necessary through diet, exercise and doTERRA Essential Oils.
